Shipping costs
Items will be charged for based on their size, weight, and their destination. Charges will also vary depending on whether you will be delivering the shipment or if we need to collect it, and if you will be collecting the shipment at its destination or if we will be delivering it to you. The shipping method will also have a bearing on costs.
Booking your shipment
Once you are ready to book your shipment then you will need to contact a member of our export team who will provide you with a Household Good/Personal Effects booking form. Please complete and sign this form and send it back for us to proceed with the shipment.
Arrival at destination
Once your shipment arrives in Bermuda, it will need to clear a customs check. Please provide an inventory of the items shipped along with the below forms:
- Cash values of used household goods and personal effects form
- HM Customs – Declaration of personal effects form
- Standard work permit (if applicable)
Delivery
If you have asked us to deliver your shipment, then BEST Shipping will be in contact to arrange a delivery time. They can then either drop the items off at your door or provide a service whereby a team will move the items into your home and remove the packaging materials.
